Members of BSA have been competing in events as far afield as Rutland and Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

Light winds prevailed during the annual Cowes Classic Week - a regatta which is held in the Solent and open to any yachts designed 40 years ago or more. Charlie and Hannah Evans in their Flying Fifteen Ffickle achieved a creditable fourth place.

Tim Scott crewed by Tanya Lopes enjoyed sailing in the RYA Sailability Multiclass Regatta at Rutland Water on 4th and 5th August, despite the added challenge of weed round their keel in one race. More than 80 sailors across a whole spectrum of abilities took part in the UK’s biggest disability sailing event of its kind.
