On day 1, the participants were thrown around in the wind, in boats half-filled with water, but thankfully the weather was much milder on day 2. Under the instruction of Richard Hayden and Richard Goring everyone managed to complete the prescribed tasks.

RYA Powerboat Certificate Level 2 was awarded to all participants, enabling them to helm the support boats at Bewl Water and to complete an RYA Safety Boat course, should they wish.
