Handicap fleet

Boats of any class are welcome to join in the regular Sunday morning racing. Alternatively you can come along to our handicap open meetings: the Bewl Blaster, Mid-Summer Regatta, Bart’s Bash and Boxing Day Bottle.

Here are some examples of boats that have raced in handicap fleets at Bewl in the last year: Heron, Wanderer, Merlin Rocket, Contender, Gull, RS Aero, Solo, Pico, 505, RS100, RS 400, Laser Stratos, RS Venturer, F1 Catamaran, Laser Vago and Leader.

You can cruise at Bewl whenever you wish, providing you have RYA Level 2. If you enjoy sailing in company, you will find like-minded sailors on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
